A very ornately carved temple. Two spiked, iron-tipped sticks. Narrow part of one sliding into the wide part of the other. Desired length held by peg and an iron collar. Intricate carving on both sticks. 39 holes in larger piece, 29 holes in tongue…

Symmetrical, double-edged. Handle rounded and shaped to fit hand.

Straight. Blade double-edged and pointed. Very roughly shaped. Tag says "204 Ohio" by SDS

21", 2 harness. Long harness roller, twisted wire heddles, seat brackets (seat missing). The shedding motion depends on a long roller. The harnesses show an early example of twisted wire heddles.

ATHM records refer to this as "Loom, Slot and Hole, Knee".
Single slab. 13 holes, 12 slots closed at top, 8 3/4" long. Knee grips crudely whittled, shaping lower 7 1/2" into paddle. One side has initials P.T. and date 1773 scratch-carved on it.

Approximately 84 iron spikes set in a zinc-covered piece of 1/2" oak with one end broken off and a 3/4" hole bored through the other end

Hand-wrought semi-strap hinges to cover, lock tang missing. Lock and keyhole on chest, key missing. Corners dovetailed. Till with hinged cover, pivot hinges. Lid edges molded. Rope handle at one end, missing from other end. Green paint.

Frame for tying the string heddles used in loom harnesses. The two flat laths are harness frames; the round rod, when pulled out, leaves a uniform loom or eye in each heddle. The T-posts are adjustable for different harness lengths.
