An unusual design. The main barrel has 2 wood pieces on the ends that loosen when handle on end (right in photo) is turned. When handle is loosened, all parts come apart - uprights, ends, spindle, etc. Base post looks new.

Turned wheel post, spokes, front post, tension handle, legs. Has a wheel boy attached with string. Horn collar on the head post.

For use on a great wheel. Throat appears to be turned, while the rest appears to be hand carved. One piece construction except for the metal spindle.
