ATHM records refer to this as "Loom, Slot and Hole, Knee".
Single slab. 13 holes, 12 slots closed at top, 8 3/4" long. Knee grips crudely whittled, shaping lower 7 1/2" into paddle. One side has initials P.T. and date 1773 scratch-carved on it.

Two wooden slats are held together with string while bamboo strips are held in between.
