Description

Rectangular frame consisting of two curved sides and two round sides holds two parallel wheel posts joined by a crossbar at the top. A wooden box fits just above the frame between the posts. An extended drive wheel axle fits between posts with a handle on the end. The drive wheel has eight spokes and a flat rim constructed in one piece. The wooden shaft for the bobbin has a whorl and is above the wheel. It fits into one post and into a notch in the other, secured by a pivoting peg. Stained red.
